Product dimensions listed are nominal. Slight variations in thickness, length, and width are normal and within industry-standard tolerances. If you require exact specifications for a project, we recommend requesting a physical sample before placing a bulk order.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or replace any product at any time without prior notice.
04 Orders & Pricing
Placing an Order
All orders placed through Travertineslab.com constitute an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when your order is processed and payment is confirmed.
Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed. Prices do not include applicable taxes, shipping, or handling fees, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and will notify you promptly. You will have the option to reorder at the correct price or receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to limit order quantities, particularly for large commercial or bulk orders. Please contact us directly for project quotes on large-volume purchases.
05 Payment Terms
Payment Methods & Security
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
By submitting an order, you represent that you are the authorized user of the payment method provided and that all billing information is accurate and complete.
For large orders or custom slab commissions, we may require a deposit of up to 50% at the time of order confirmation, with the remaining balance due prior to shipment. You will be notified of these requirements before completing your purchase.
All payments must be cleared before orders are dispatched. We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies in the event of a fraudulent or disputed payment.
06 Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Timelines & Responsibilities
We ship Travertineslab products via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers due to the weight and fragility of natural stone. Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout and are estimates only — they are not guarantees.
Shipping timelines may be affected by product availability, carrier delays, weather conditions, customs processing (for international orders), or other factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers.
It is your responsibility to:
- Ensure someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery at the agreed address.
- Inspect all packages before signing the delivery receipt. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
- Report any shipping damage, shortage, or discrepancy to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence.
Failure to inspect goods at delivery or to report damage within the required timeframe may limit your ability to make a damage claim. Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery.
We currently ship to the contiguous United States. International and Hawaii/Alaska shipping is available upon request and may incur additional fees. Please contact us for a custom shipping quote.
07 Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Our Return Policy
Due to the custom nature of natural stone products and the logistical challenges of returning heavy freight, all sales are considered final unless there is a verified manufacturing defect or documented shipping damage.
Returns may be accepted in the following circumstances:
- The product received is materially different from what was ordered (wrong product or wrong quantity).
- The product arrived with documented shipping damage reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- There is a verified manufacturing defect not attributable to natural stone variation.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Natural color, tone, veining, or texture variations inherent to travertine stone.
- Products that have been cut, installed, sealed, or otherwise altered.
- Change of mind or incorrect quantities ordered by the customer.
- Products damaged due to improper handling, storage, or installation.
Approved returns must be shipped back in their original packaging, freight prepaid, unless the return is due to our error.
Order cancellations must be submitted before the order has been processed for shipment. Once an order is in transit, it cannot be cancelled. Custom or special-order slabs cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of receiving the returned goods in acceptable condition.
08 Natural Stone Disclaimer
Understanding Natural Stone Products
Travertineslab is a naturally occurring limestone formed over thousands of years and quarried directly from the earth. Each slab, tile, and paver is entirely unique. By purchasing from TravertineSlab.com, you acknowledge and accept the following:
- Color variation: Colors and tones shown in product photographs are representative samples. Actual products may vary in shade, depth, and intensity due to natural mineral composition and quarrying location.
- Voids and pitting: Natural travertine contains voids, pores, and pitting. Filled travertine products have these voids grouted, but some variation may remain. Unfilled travertine will have open voids by design.
- Veining: Natural veins and fissures are characteristic of travertine and are not considered defects.
- Batch variation: Different production batches of the same product may show noticeable variation. We strongly recommend ordering sufficient material in a single batch to complete your project, plus a 10–15% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
- Installation: Professional installation is strongly recommended. We are not responsible for damages or costs arising from improper installation, sealing, or maintenance.
Samples are available upon request and are strongly encouraged before placing large orders. Samples are representative but are not guaranteed to be an exact match to bulk shipments.
